Hope Worldwide is a charity that we have volunteered for for more than 10 years. It focuses on meeting the local needs. In Hong Kong, they mainly focus on helping the solitary elderly and children from low income families.

Volunteers would go visit the elderly and see to their needs such as cleaning up the house and painting the walls. The elderly would be reminded safety precautions so that they do not fall easily at home. Gift bags are given out to them.   

There is a Centre for Children in Shek Kip Mei that runs programs for children from low income families. Volunteers help to give them tutorials and the children may also join programs to train their character.
