The vulnerable groups in Africa have very limited knowledge in protecting themselves against the pandemic which is now raging in their country.  Learning that the aged and the weak have difficulties to find surgical masks, hand sanitizers and other materials, a group of philanthropists who joined the ‘Good Trekker’ charity trip to Kenya spontaneously raised funds for them earlier, so that the locals could be able to buy anti-epidemic supplies to meet the urgent needs.

We just received a thank you letter from HOPE worldwide Kenya expressing their gratitude towards the 30 Good Trekkers for their generous donations and updating us their latest situation.

The donated masks and anti-epidemic materials arrived Kenya in time and they were immediately dispatched to the service centers in 10 provinces in Kenya.  Now, the local staff and their partners who are serving in the community are someway protected in this severe situation.  On the other hand, donated anti-epidemic supplies and food have been directly distributed to the vulnerable communities.
