A Village makes SENse
Happy for some but anxious for others
When the school bell rings at the end of the day, it’s usually a happy time.
But for some children, it’s just the beginning of a nightmare.
They are children with special educational needs (SEN) such as autism, ADHD, or dyslexia.
They must navigate their way through their homework everyday as well as prepare for dictation tests several times a week.
Without help, they simply fall further and further behind. Their learning and developmental needs don’t go away just because the last bell of the school day rang.
A Village makes SENse is a one-stop learning hub built with love and care for SEN children. It is a comprehensive afterschool academic support for children who come to our centre. We will help them to not only complete their homework (a daily battle for them and their parents) but also to equip them with the communication and cooperation skills they need to in order to develop socially. The programme also trains people in the community who are interested in giving SEN children after school-support.
