Services for Children from low-income families and students with Special Educational Needs(SEN) 

Hong Kong has about 240,000 grassroots children, meaning 1 in every 4 children lives in a low-income family.  

HOPE worldwide has been dedicated to assisting children from low-income families for many years, providing after-school support and character education to help them grow and break the cycle of poverty. Our services have now expanded to include children with special educational needs and their families, offering them assistance.  

This is the Flag Day we are holding again after 2020, and this year, the adorable "panda-a-panda" will join us in selling flags to give out love and care to more children.

What is "Online Flag Selling"?

"Online Flag Selling" is designed for volunteers who are unable to sell flags on the street on Flag Day.  

Before the Flag Day (March), volunteers will receive:  

(1) WhatsApp fundraising messages and donation links for flag selling, which volunteers can forward to invite friends to donate online;  

(2) Flag Day exclusive WhatsApp stickers, which volunteers can keep as mementos and also forward to thank friends who donate.

The Director of Social Welfare has approved three organizations to sell flags on March 15, 2025, in the Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and New Territories districts, and HOPE worldwide has been approved to sell flags in Kowloon on that day.
